1. Better intelligence gathering and sharing of information within government agencies and the airlines.

2. More airline involvement in security because they are a for profit company with a vested interest in keeping passengers safe.

3. A staged screening process beginning the instant passengers enter the terminal including retinal, fingerprint and image screening.

4. Valid passport requirement of all persons entering a terminal (for any reason).

5. Carry on luggage to be screened by the airline and delivered to the passenger’s assigned airline seat.

6. More airline cost-sharing with government for security overhaul.
